Hofstede Optics represents quality and exclusive eyeglasses fashion; that also applies to the sunglasses. All the sunglasses that we provide are made of optically pure glass and offer excellent protection against harmful UV radiation.
The fashion houses are of course well represented in our collection. Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Tom Ford, Gucci and Thom Browne. In addition to the “real” sunglasses brands like Ray Ban, Persol, Oakley and Serengeti.
We are especially proud of the London brand Linda Farrow (a trendsetter that anticipates every year on the “safe” collections of fashion houses) and the US DITA (which probably makes the most beautiful and highest quality eyewear). These are not glasses that you will encounter very often in the Netherlands.
Thanks to new developments nearly all prescription sunglass lenses can be made. Not just the color and mirror coating, but an additional convex curve as well can now be recreated according to the original glass of your own prescription.
